A Native Georgian, I graduated from North Gwinnett High School. Played 2 years of volleyball for Shorter University. Completed my undergrad at Kennesaw State University in history. Achieved my Masters degree in Secondary Education at Mercer University. I'm currently working on my Specialist degree at Kennesaw State University in Social Studies Education.
This is my fifth year coaching Creekview swim. I am a two time County Boys Coach of the Year recipient. And have coached Region and County Championship Teams!
My husband and I have been married for 16 years. We currently live in Woodstock with our 2 dogs, Hudson and Murphy. I enjoy traveling, hiking, kayaking, baking and a good cup of coffee.
I was born in Southern California, but grew up mostly in Colorado. I moved here to Georgia in the summer of 2014 to attend Kennesaw State where I graduated with a degree in Biology in 2017. After working as a Biologist, I decided to go back to Kennesaw for my Master’s Degree and become a high school teacher. I'm currently working on my Specialist degree in Science Education.
I have only been teaching for 5 years now and this is my fifth year as the Assistant Coach for Creekview High School.
I love all sports, so when I can, I am watching my favorite sport teams: the Dodgers, Broncos, and Lakers. I also love the outdoors so I go hiking and kayaking as often as I can!
Hi! My name is Maddie Logan, and I’m so excited to join the team as the Junior Swim Coach! I am a Cherokee County/Creekview Zone graduate, and it feels great to be back. I attended the University of North Georgia, where I earned my degree in Elementary/Special Education, and I recently began my teaching career at Macedonia Elementary School as a 5th grade teacher. Over the summer, I married my husband, Carter, and we now live in Canton. We love spending our weekends running and enjoying time with family and friends.
I grew up swimming competitively with Swim Atlanta, Orange Shoals, and the Creekview Swim Team. During my senior year at Creekview, I was honored to serve as team captain and compete at the GHSA State Meet each year. Swimming has always been a huge part of my life, and I’m excited to share my love for the sport while helping junior swimmers build both skill and confidence!
