Responsibilities on Swim Board
President
The president shall preside at all meetings of the organization and the executive committee, shall appoint special committees, and shall have the authority to spend up to $250.00 without approval of the organization. The president coordinates all board activities and interacts with the coaches to meet their needs during the season.
Vice President
The vice president shall act as aid to the president and shall perform the duties of the president in the president’s absence. The vice president will perform the duty of Spirtwear & Uniform Committee leader.
Secretary
The secretary shall keep a record of all meeting of the organization and of the executive committee, and shall perform other such duties as delegated. The secretary will be responsible for team registration and sign-ups throughout the season.
Treasurer
The treasurer shall receive all monies of the organization, shall keep an accurate record of receipt and expenditures, and shall make disbursements in accordance with the approved budget, as authorized by the organization. The treasurer shall present a statement of account at every meeting of the organization and at other times when requested by the executive committee. The treasurer will also submit the following documents to the Creekview High School Principal and Athletic Director: (1) a proposed annual budget prior to the first swim meet for the year and (2) a final annual financial report.
Members At Large (3-4)
Members at Large will perform the duties of committee leaders as assigned by the president. Current committee leaders include Hospitality, Banquet, Events, and Fundraising/Sponsorship.
Responsibilities of Coaches
Head Coach
Runs swim program including leading all practices & coordinating away meet and hosted meet efforts. Liason for athletic director and Creekview's principal as well as the Cherokee County Aquatic Center and other high school teams. Lead monthly team bonding events with team.
Assistant Coaches
Assist head coach as asked. Coordinate communication and publicity for team within school and community. Coordinate fundraising, sponsorships, and philanthropy for the team.
